Not sure where to put a comment about the October book -- Doughnut Economics. I've got some basic familiarity with the concepts behind this school of economics -- trying to change the answers and policies we get by changing the questions. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest good data points that could be reported regularly on the news to assist with changing the questions on a wider social scale. The news sources I listen to usually report stock market returns every day and of course quarterly GDP numbers and monthly inflation numbers. What other data points could be reported with the same regularity that would help more of us think in terms of the doughnut challenges instead of along the unending growth lines?
I also don't know where to talk about the October book. I don't have a paid subscription. Is that a limiting factor?
If members want to dive into climate models, I definitely recommend the MIT group Ms. Raworth mentioned, C-ROADS, now more well known as En-ROADS. They offer courses and workshops. I recommend. https://www.climateinteractive.org/en-roads/
